Giving Tuesday

Please consider donating to the LCMA this Giving Tuesday, November 29th. We are firmly committed to supporting health promotion right here in Lucas County. Despite the ongoing challenges of our new normal in 2021, we were able to disburse funds to Aurora House, Mobile Meals, Mom's House, Ronald McDonald House, Read for Literacy, Bethany House, UTCOM Scholarship, Mareda Center and Community Care Clinics. Please help us so we can continue to support these organizations (and more!) going forward and maintain a strong LCMA!

Make your pledge using the PayPal button below (please note there is a $2 processing fee) or send a check made out to LCMA to Kiran Rai, 26700 River Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.

Drives & Donations

There are so many great ways to give back to our community, especially as the holidays approach. Here are a couple ways you can help!

20/20 Program at St. John's Jesuit High School

This program is a support system for students who are under-resourced and academically talented. They are in need of the following items:

- Blazers/sports coats (plain, dark colors) for 9th-12th graders

- Boxes of healthy, individually packed snacks (granola, cereal bars, etc) to provide them with extra food for lunch, dinner or during the weekends.

Drop off all items to Carine Abdul-Aziz at 14629 Prairie Lake Drive in Perrysburg.

Women's Shelter

For the 6th year, LCMA will be collecting new sample-sized cosmetics, toiletries and make-up as well as make-up bags to provide small gifts for the women at various Women's and Family Shelters around Lucas County in December.

Drop off all items to Chelsey Gupta at 2450 Underhill Road in Ottawa Hills.

Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers to prepare meals at the Ronald McDonald House this year! This is an excellent way to help those in need with sick loved ones and it's very easy to do!! Many of our members have cooked meals here throughout the year and they have very easy meal ideas that we can share with you. So consider getting a few friends together and signing up for an available date.

If you are interested or have any questions please contact Lindsay Assenmacher at lindsayassenmacher@yahoo.com

Thank You!

Because of the generosity of our amazing LCMA members, our organization was able to donate over $11,000 to our Toledo community this year.

The money we raised from 2021-2022 funded a $6,000 UT College of Medicine Scholarship and supported the following local groups:

AMA, Aurora House, Bethany House, Mobile Meals, Moms' House, Read for Literacy, RFL Spelling Bee, Ronald McDonald House, Community Care Clinics, and Mareda Center

This does not include all your other charitable acts like cooking meals at the Ronald McDonald house and donating to our various household item drives. So, thank you for all you do!
